I always wanted to have children and I thought 4 would be a nice number. I thought I’d get married young and have 4 babies and life would be grand. However, I didn’t marry young and it seems that babies aren’t in the plan. But God, in his infinite wisdom, gave me some 4-LEGGED babies, each with a unique personality, to love and mother to my heart’s content.

I have always loved dogs but not as I do now. I treasure these precious and loving companions. There’s Buck, our rescue dog - a German Shepherd who faithfully guards our home and well being and patiently puts up with his brother and sisters! There’s Odie, our 19 pound "miniature" Dachshund, who lives to snuggle and cuddle and whose tail never stops wagging. Then there’s Daisy, the Diva Daschshund, a 9 pound Rottweiler trapped in a Dachshund body whose potty training is often conditional. Daisy’s a survivor though, she was literally born during Hurricane Jeanne and was the only one to survive in her litter. And finally there’s Brandi - a Boxer who wants to THINK she’s a Dachshund and can fit everywhere they can! I can vouch for the expression "a bored Boxer is a bad Boxer!"

Needless to say, it's puppy pandemonium at our house. Still, they make us laugh, make us cry and drive us crazy about every 4 1/2 minutes. Still, I thank God for my answered prayers. Life sure would be boring without them! They have taught me the true meaning of unconditional love. I hope I have learned my lessons well.
