We have a 3 yr. old, female, Italian Greyhound named Percival. We call her "Percy." She is the LOVE of our life and is the most beautiful, comical dog we’ve ever known!!

She’s got quite a funny personality, as she’s sneaky at times. For example, she STEALS! One evening we were eating dinner and had emptied the eaten Corn stalks into the garbage, and all of a sudden, Percy darts by with this huge ear of corn in her mouth and runs into her crate. If you have ever seen an IG, you know that they look almost like little skinny deer. She has this very guilty, "distressed" look on her face as we call it, and then we also notice she’s stolen the wad of string that we had used to wrap the lamb we had cooked that evening, as it’s wadded up in front of her paws!

Not to be gross or anything, but we found portions of the string the next day when our other little dog, "Hercules" the Maltese, went outside to do his "kadoodlin" as we call it. :-) Percy also howls! She was featured on Channel Seven’s News in Miami last year when they did a segment on a Dog Casting on South Beach.

Tyler and I tried desperately to make her make any inkling of a noise, as we sat there stupidly howling in front of amazed onlookers. She finally makes this tiny little yelp which was barely audible, but fortunately she held her head up high, so when it was played on the news that evening, they had dubbed in a man’s opera voice singing. It was hilarious! We still play it for company for a doggone good laff!!!:-)
